Karura Community Centre (KCC) is a faith-based nonprofit organization established in 2008 as an outreach of Karura Community Chapel. Registered with the NGO Board of Kenya, KCC partners with local churches, institutions, and community stakeholders to bring holistic transformation to underserved families and vulnerable groups.
Guided by Our Vision of “Transformed lives; Impacting the World”, we engage the Body of Christ to respond to spiritual, social, economic, and physical needs within our community.

Students are identified through referrals from local schools, churches, and community leaders, followed by an application process to share their background and needs.
Each application is carefully reviewed, with home visits and interviews conducted to confirm genuine need and assess the student’s potential to thrive under the program.
A dedicated committee makes the final selection. Successful students and their guardians are onboarded, paired with mentors, and guided through expectations for the scholarship and mentorship journey.
